Police take away huge haul of cannabis
MORE than 700 cannabis plants have been found at a property in Cardiff.
South Wales Police discovered the huge cannabis factory on Sunday.
Officers also attended the property, on Brook Street, Riverside, yesterday. Pictures from the scene showed the officers removing the bags of cannabis.
The property has now been made safe as officers continue their inquiries.
A spokeswoman for South Wales Police, said: “A large cannabis factory was discovered in a property in Brook Street on Sunday, May 2.
“The property has been made safe and more than 700 plants, and equipment, have been removed.
“Inquiries are ongoing to identify those involved in the production.”
