-

A COCKTAIL bar which has locations all across London is set to open a new venue in Cardiff soon.

The Cocktail Club is set to open at 75 St Mary Street at the site of the former Karma club.

The new bar will be situated next door to the recently opened Par 59 mini-golf bar.

Bookings are already open for the bar which, according to The Cocktail Club’s website, is due to open on June 30.

“Expect top-notch cocktails, banging tunes, bartenders ready to entertain, a happy hour not to be forgotten and most of all a night you won’t forget,” the website reads.

The bar offers a wide-ranging cocktail menu, from classics such as a Mojito, Old Fashioned, or Long Island Iced Tea, to more interestingly named drinks, including the Kombuyakasha with Kombucha, and the Choctails and Dreams, which is topped with whipped cream and a toasted marshmallow.

The Cocktail Club opened its first branch in London in 2008 and offers events such as bottomless brunches, cocktail masterclasses, and celebration packages.

The bar also offers ‘Happiness Trees’ where you can either choose between six cocktails for £60 for 12 cocktails for £100 from a menu of either Pornstar Martini, Espresso Martini or French Martini.

It is set to offer Happy Hour ever day from 8pm, according to its website.

The bar, which currently has 12 sites, first opened in Covent Garden before expanding across London.

Since opening, it has picked up a range of national awards, including from London Lifestyle, Time Out, and Design My Night.

It also has branches in Bristol and Reading, and is also due to open in Exeter.

Nightcap, the company behind The Cocktail Club, is also behind the Adventure Bar Group, which owns Tonight Josephine that recently opened on Caroline Street.
