Call for festive foodbank gifts

AN APPEAL for residents, staff and businesses to support their local foodbank this festive season has been made by Caerphilly County Council.

Foodbanks provide emergency food and support to families and individuals who find themselves in financial crisis.

Foodbanks rely heavily upon donations, particularly over Christmas, and have seen demand for their support increase throughout the pandemic and as a result of the current cost of living

As part of this year’s appeal as well as food, Caerphilly County Council is also collecting cash donations to enable foodbanks to purchase the supplies they desperately need.
