Ammanford reach the summit
AMMANFORD moved to the top of Admiral One West Central with a comfortable 32-15 home win over Bonymaen.
They scored four tries – the last near the end by prop Dylan Phillips – to clinch a bonus point that moved them a point clear at the top. Other tries came from Matthew Lemon, Ells Smith and Owain Thomas.
Dunvant’s 46-0 win at bottom side Brynamman moved them to within three points of the top, while Waunarlwydd beat visiting Glynneath 2013.
In One East, Newbridge extended their unbeaten run to six games as they beat Penallta 52-0.
They are now eight points ahead of Brecon.
Newbridge fly-half Simon Veale helped himself to a hat-trick of tries. Robbie Turley was in fine form with the boot.
In One East Central, St Peter’s were beaten for the first time this season as they tumbled to a 32-10 defeat at Mountain Ash.
Treorchy’s 19-17 home win over St Joseph’s keeps them in the title race, while Barry are unbeaten after four outings.
