‘More migrants in rural areas’

RURAL areas may be asked to accommodate more migrants to ensure different regions of the UK share the load on services, a minister has suggested.

Home Office minister Robert Jenrick said small towns and rural areas may be asked to house more people crossing the Channel “as long as numbers are so high”.
