Family appeal for help to find missing teenager

-

THE family of an 18-year-old man who has been missing since Sunday morning are appealing for information to help find him.

Casey Coulton, pictured, from Aberdare went missing at around midnight following a house party with friends on Saturday.

His sister, who did not want to be named, said Casey was having a lift home when he suddenly got out of the car and ran in Cwmbach.

She said his family and friends are “very worried” about his welfare.

She said: “He was out on Saturday in a house party with his friends and apparently his phone died. He was having a lift home from his friend’s dad, who said he was happy and singing along to the music in the car.

“Then all of a sudden at around 12am he got out of the car and ran towards Aberaman.

“On the day it happened we had a sighting of him walking from Cwmbach to Aberaman, but he has not been seen since.

“Police said they couldn’t track his phone because it was off and either lost, he threw it so it couldn’t be found or someone had taken it off him. A few of his friends are up the Rhondda Valley – where he lives – to search for him. They are doing different areas each day.”

She said although Casey struggles with his mental health, “it was very unlike him”.

She said the family are appealing for anyone with information to come forward and contact South Wales Police. The force is also currently searching for him.

She said: “He was last seen wearing black and red Nike air Max shoes, a black and grey jacket, a black coat and grey joggers. He’s 5’7 with brown hair and green eyes.”
