Sophie (Celia Rowlson-Hall) is a new parent, grappling with the responsibility of nurturing new life as she draws lessons – some painfully – from her own childhood.
She is compelled to look back 20 years to a holiday in Turkey with her idealistic
divorced father Calum (Paul Mescal) when she was just 11 (now played by Frankie Corio). While the sun beats down on father and daughter, young Sophie glimpses chinks in Calum’s emotional armour in the aftermath of his marriage falling apart.
