Put red dragon on the Royal Standard
THE demands that the Welsh rugby team should be renamed Cymru and that the emblem should be a red dragon instead of the three feathers might be acceptable to extreme Welsh nationalists but not to the average patriotic Welsh rugby fan who is quite comfortable with the way Welsh international rugby has been identified since 1880.
Vincent Tan tried the same thing at Cardiff City but Bluebirds fans rebelled and got their old kit back.
A better idea for the red dragon would be to put it in one of the two quarters of the Royal Standard occupied by the English lions.
