Plea to find missing pensioner

A PENSIONER has been reported missing, prompting a police appeal.

Leighton Tones, 77, pictured right, last spoke to his family at lunchtime on Sunday and hasn’t been seen since.

His disappearance is “very out of character”, police said.

Tones, who is 5ft 8in, slim, has short white hair, and wears glasses.

In a social media appeal on Monday the force said: “#HELPUSFIND Leighton Tones. Leighton, aged 77, from Rhoose has been reported as missing and was last spoken to by family on Sunday at around 12.30pm but hasn’t been seen or heard from since.”
