‘My customers say they don’t know where they’d be without Park’

- Gemma Cullen, 43, from Wales, is a Park Christmas Savings agent

“I joined Park because of my mum (pictured right, above), who was an agent for many years. She was a Christmas fanatic and she was passionate about helping people to put money away so they could have the best possible time with their loved ones.

“Sadly, Mum passed away in March 2021. I didn’t want to let any of her customers down, so I took them on. I added a few more too, and in total I’ve got more than 20 now.

“The commission comes off my balance, which means that at the end of the year I’ve got a bit of extra cash, which helps. But although the money is great, for me it’s more about continuing my mum’s legacy. It was something she really believed in.

“Last year I ended up winning £750 as the top salesperson in Wales, which was amazing. I felt like it wasn’t really my award, it was for Mum and all the effort she put in when she was alive. I split the prize with my dad and we put it towards a caravan for the family.

“A lot of my customers say they don’t know where they’d be without Park, and I feel the same.”
