Aerial shots show full wonder of winter attraction

-

STUNNING aerial photographs have shown atmospheric views of Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland from the night sky.

The attraction has seen people flocking from far and wide for their fix of hot chocolate, hot dogs, and hot mulled cider.

Like last year, the Cardiff event is split across two sites – an ice rink with food and drink options against the gorgeous backdrop of Cardiff Castle, and a bigger selection of stalls alongside games and rides at City Hall Lawns.

Now drone footage, and images from the site itself, have shown just how spectacular it looks on a crisp preChristmas evening – from the freezingcold Ice Bar where you can play chess on a board made of ice while you enjoy a drink, to the fires where you can roast marshmallows in view of Cardiff Castle.

Both Winter Wonderland sites opened in mid-November and will stay open for the first week of the new year, only closing on Christmas Day and Boxing Day in the meantime.
