Pedestrian in hospital after being struck by car in city
A PEDESTRIAN was taken to hospital following a collision with a car in central Cardiff.
The crash happened on Wednesday evening in Riverside.
A South Wales Police spokesman said: “Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision between a female pedestrian and a car at approximately 6.30pm at Texaco garage on Tudor Street, Cardiff.
“The pedestrian was taken to University Hospital Wales as a precautionary measure.”
An ambulance and police van were still on the scene at 8.30pm.
