DEAL WITH THE DEVIL

ROT SETS IN ON NICK AND LEANNE’S PLANS TO BUY THE BISTRO... AND WHERE’S THE MONEY COMING FROM?

-

IN A surprise move, Harvey offers Nick the money he and Leanne need to buy Debbie’s share of the bistro.

Later, Debbie approaches Nick and Leanne and tells them that she’s decided to accept their original offer. As they celebrate the deal, the builder working for the other potential buyer, Lynne, reveals the reason she pulled out is because the place is riddled with dry rot. Leanne confronts Debbie in the Rovers and makes a lunge for her.

Meanwhile, Harvey calls Nick from prison and tells him the offer of money still stands. Nick lies to Leanne about where the cash is coming from, claiming it’s a temporary loan

from Sam’s inheritance, but keeping the truth from his other half may eventually be the least of his worries... Stephen is also struggling to make ends meet.

With Gabrielle breathing down his neck, he lands a job as a delivery driver but is confronted by a group of teenagers, who steal his delivery box and work phone. The youths then demand money from him.

During the altercation, Stephen spots Tim’s mum Elaine approaching on the street. He tries to race away on his scooter, not wanting Elaine to find out about his new job, but he loses control of the vehicle and goes sprawling across the road. He decides to pack in the job and launches a devious new scheme that could endanger Audrey’s life.

Elsewhere, Summer suffers a miscarriage, but tries to keep the news from Mike and Esther, Ken struggles to choose between Wendy and Martha, and Sean fears he’s pushed Laurence away.
