WEBCHAT The Princess of Wales has revealed she has been diagnosed with cancer

- Christine Mason Samantha Deakin Shell Pearce

The press now needs to leave them alone to deal with this the best they can as a family. Wishing you all the best Kate for a full recovery.

Christine Jones

Had to reveal everything because the press were hounding her, she was entitled to take time out to explain to her own little kiddies everything that is going on, instead of the press supporting her they tried to make up absurd stories, I really hope she just thinks about herself and her family, the statement has been released so leave her alone... get well soon Princess of Wales you are loved so much.

Get well beautiful princess, we know what you are going through you will get through this with love and best wishes from all the people who love you, stay strong. Pam Byrne

Very sad news. Now hopefully people can leave her alone. Mark G Adams

Positive thinking, that’s the way our dear Princess Kate, we’re supporting all the way. Hope she gets some peace now to continue recovery. God bless the Royal Family right now poor William has a lot on his shoulders too.

A truly beautiful lady, I wish you a speedy and full recovery. I hope the public respect their right to privacy.

Sending love and thoughts to this very dignified and lovely lady as she navigates this momentous challenge. God bless.

Kate Cross

Very brave of her, it’s hard to accept you have cancer confirmed after an operation, then to tell the world about it. She is human, give her chance to cope with the preventive chemo. Lucille Jones

Well all I can say is, I hope everyone who’s been hounding them feels guilty!

Karen Wilson

Sending all our best wishes. I hope now you can have the peace and privacy you deserve to deal with this as a family at such a difficult time in your life.
