Porn on tourism screen

ABERYSTWYTH Pornographic images were brought up on a screen in a Welsh town centre. The image of animated Japanese erotica was displayed on a doublesided tourism kiosk screen on Alexandra Road in Aberystwyth on Sunday night. The screen was one of three set up to advertise local businesses and events by Advancing Aberystwyth Ar y Blaen, a business set up to manage the Business Improvement District. But on Sunday night, a fault led to two indecent images flashing up on one of the screens for a few minutes. The fault meant the computer’s desktop was left open and someone was able to click on an internet browser and navigate to the images. Shaun Jones, from Emerge Advertising, which runs the software and content of the machines, said the faulty player had been replaced and “numerous security fixes applied to make it impossible for this to occur again”.
