Buses damaged in collision at station

-

TWO buses crashed into each other at Quadrant Bus Station in Swansea yesterday.

The incident happened at around 1.45pm, according to an eyewitness.

Hugh Rees, who was on another service on his way home to Sketty, described the moment the two buses hit each other.

“I was sitting on my bus, which was waiting to leave, when I heard an almighty bang,” he said.

“But it wasn’t us, it was another bus in the station”.

Mr Rees claimed a green park and ride bus, operated by First Bus Cymru, had crashed into another waiting First Bus service.

The two buses were left with damaged lights. Noone is thought to have been injured.

First Bus Cymru has been asked to comment.
