Hall concert to commemorate

THE Festival of Remembrance concert takes place in Swansea tonight.

The Brangwyn Hall will host an evening commemorating the centenary since the First World War ended and 100 years since the formation of the Royal Airforce.

Doors open at 6pm for a 7pm start and will see a range of performers.

Taking to the stage will be soloist Gwawr Edwards, the 215 City of Swansea Squadron Military Marching Band, Dunvant and Morriston RFC male voice choirs, along with the City of Swansea Pipe Band and concert band.

Dancerama performing arts group will be part of the line-up along with the Swansea Music youth choir named Choirworks.

Hosting the evening will be Brian Sullivan. Entry is free.
