HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mickey Mouse! It’s hard to believe but it’s 90 years since Mickey Mouse made his first appearance in Steamboat Willie on November 18, 1928.
To mark his birthday there’s going to be a host of celebrations taking place across the world, including the World’s Biggest Mickey Mouse Party hosted at Disney Theme Parks all over.

MICKEY Mouse has been featured in 121 animations and featurettes at the cinema including 118 between 1928 and 1953.
HE made his debut in Steamboat Willie – the first-ever fully synchronised sound animated short cartoon.
MICKEY was originally going to called Mortimer but Walt Disney’s wife, Lillian, felt the name was too pompous.
