Police probe after man is found dead

AN investigation is underway after the death of a man at a house in Briton Ferry.

The body of a 48-yearold man was discovered at a property in Villiers Street in the town on Monday morning. Police are investigating the death but said they were not treating it as suspicious.

A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said: “We are investigating the sudden death of a 48-yearold man at a property on Villiers Street, Briton Ferry.

“Officers were called to the address at approximately 11.25am on Monday, November 12.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious.”

The police also confirmed that the man’s next of kin had been informed along with HM Coroner.
