tributes to ‘loving and selfless’ mum of four

A MOTHER OF FOUR who died in a crash on the M4 has been described by her family as a “loving and selfless” person.

Susan Elizabeth Curtis, aged 50, was from St Thomas, Swansea. ■

A MOTHER-OF-FOUR who died in a crash on the M4 has been described by her family as a “loving and selfless” person.

Susan Elizabeth Curtis, aged 50, from St Thomas, Swansea, died at the scene of the single-vehicle crash on Sunday morning.

Paying tribute to her, her husband Leighton and children Sam, Ben, Emily and Rebecca, said: “’A loving, selfless and protective woman, Mam was constantly doing something for others.

“Fiercely strong and independen­t, we can’t begin to contemplat­e the void she has left, not only in her family’s lives but also everyone who knew her.

“We will love and miss you always.”

Police are continuing to investigat­e the crash that happened on the eastbound carriagewa­y between junction 35 (Pencoed) and junction 36 (Sarn) shortly before 7.40am on Sunday, November 11.

The motorway was closed for around six hours to allow investigat­ion work to take place.

Mrs Curtis was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers want to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash, has dash cam footage, or who stopped to provide help at the scene.

Anyone who saw the silver Renault Clio before the crash is asked to call them on 101, quoting reference 1800428930.
