Anxious family in appeal over missing graduate
CARDIFF The family of a Cambridge graduate from Cardiff have issued a desperate appeal after not seeing or hearing from him for months. Jonathan Humphrey, aged 38, is described as a “kind, considerate, sensitive and caring person who is highly intelligent and very likeable”. Jon, as he is known, is from Roath in Cardiff and his family live in Penarth. He has a first-class honours and Master’s degrees from Cambridge University, has run his own business, fundraised for Amnesty International and designed apps for smartphones. His last job was as a software engineer. But it appears that following the death of his father and a trip to America his life has fallen apart. He had not been seen for some time prior to being reported missing on November 21. In a statement his family said: “Jon is a very capable man who can turn his hand to most things. He is a kind, considerate, sensitive and caring person.”
