Crash shuts major road
A CRASH on the A465 road at the Neath interchange closed the main carriageway in one direction for three hours yesterday.
The smash, which involved three vehicles, happened just after 12.20pm yesterday lunchtime.
A spokesman for South Wales Police said at the time: “South Wales Police have attended a road traffic collision involving three vehicles on the A465 road southbound in Neath.
“Three people have been conveyed to hospital with minor injuries.
“The main carriageway is currently closed, and we’re asking the public to avoid the area if possible at this time,” added the spokesman.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said one person had been taken to Morriston Hospital.
The road reopened at around 3.30pm yesterday afternoon.
