Two taken to hospital after M4 collision
A crash which saw two people taken to hospital closed a stretch of the M4 yesterday.
South Wales Police was called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash on the M4 westbound at junction 47 (Swansea West/penllergaer) at around 2pm.
A diversion route was put in place and police were asking motorists to avoid the area at that time.
The Welsh Ambulance Service sent an ambulance and a rapid response vehicle to the scene, before two people were taken to Morriston Hospital.
Police confirmed just before 4pm that all lanes had re-opened.
