My worry for youngsters

WHILE out walking during the “lockdown” restrictions, I have become increasingly concerned by the reactions of some very young children as my wife and I have approached.

Some children press themselves against walls or cower behind their mothers, clearly terrified.

We all want to stay safe, and especially to protect children, but are some parents over-reacting?

I worry that when (or if) we ever get back to normal behaviour, some children may have been traumatised by their experiences durig this time.
