FROM the creators of The Inbetweeners, comes this new comedy about a team of football players as they have misadventures on and off the pitch.

It boasts a great cast including Will Arnett as eccentric chairman Mark Crane and Chris Geere as an everoptimistic coach.

Mattie (Jake Short) is a new signing. Crane thinks he’s signed an American International, but he’s actually just signed an American. Mattie isn’t even on FIFA on Playstation.

In the meantime, Mattie strikes up a friendship with teammates Jack (Jack Mcmullen) and Benji (Shaquille Aliyebuah), both complete idiots.

Jack was rubbish in the most recent game because he stayed up all night playing Fortnite, and Benji fancies himself as a ladies’ man even though he still lives with his mum.

It may need a couple of episodes to win more laughs, but expect amusing locker room banter and a neat dig at the lifestyle of rich young football players.
