SWANSEA’S new skatepark should be built on the seafront, confirms an independent review. Here’s what you said . . .

TIM COOMBS Beautiful location and accessible by all. Most forward-thinking towns have done this years ago, get on with it! JASON FORDE This will be great for Swansea Bay, the current kids and future generations will benefit greatly. Other cities would love this. CLAIRE CLARKE About time they started on this. There’s been one in Porthcawl for some time which we’ve visited quite often with our teenage son. It’s nice to actually see children out and about in the fresh air, having fun and

also exercising at the same time. We will definitely be visiting here once completed, just don’t take too long. NIC WORKMAN Great news for the kids. Can we have a nice cafe built alongside too for the parents, and the profit from that will help to pay for it. Will be great to sit having a coffee whilst watching my kids learn new skills. How embarrassing and careless to think that skateparks are for youthful drug addicts... such ignorance of the world. NEALE HOWELLS Why not use all the wood from the Covid hospitals when they are finished with instead of grey concrete... at least stick some colour and design on there.
