Services change as new lockdown is introduced

IF you rely on bus services in Swansea, you may want to read on to make sure you’re aware of changes coming during the two week fire-break lockdown.

And it means that travel will be affected. First Cymru has announced a series of changes which will impact on those who use buses during the period of lockdown.

The timetable of changes will be in place from Sunday, October 25, and are taking place as the provider is reducing its services. Services not operating 7: Bus Station to Swansea Marina.

15: Bus Station to Waunarlwyd­d via Glanmor, and Cockett.

19: Bus Station Uplands and Brynmill.

30: Bus Station to Trallwn (Rhydyfelin) via Liberty Stadium.

39: Bus Station to Tycoch via Uplands, Glanmor, Gower College Swansea.

T1S: Trawscymru Swansea to Carmarthen via Cross Hands and National Botanic Garden of Wales.

X3 Cymru Clipper: Swansea City Bus Station to Maesteg via Port Talbot, Ynysygwas and Bryn.

X10: Bus Station to Cardiff via Bridgend Designer Outlet, Pencoed Services and Cardiff Bay.

961: Llansamlet to Gower College via Birchgrove and Trallwn.

963: Newton to Gower College Swansea via Oystermout­h, Caswell, West Cross and Blackpill.

964: Treboeth to Gower College Swansea.

967: Glais to Gower College via Parc Gwernfadog and Penlan.

Services operating every 15 minutes

8: Singleton Campus to Bus Station and Bay Campus via Fabian Way Park & Ride.

10: Singleton Campus to Sketty, Railway Station, Strand (St. Davids flats) and Bay Campus. Does not run via Bus Station.

42: Swansea University (Singleton Campus) to Penlan via Singleton Hospital, Sketty, Cockett, Caereithin.
