TUCKED away in a Gower village you’ll find a detached family home with picturesque coastal walks right on its doorstep.

With views across the surrounding countryside, Little Wern Halog Farm, in Llanrhidian, North Gower, sits on 12 acres of private grounds and comes with access on to one of the peninsula’s most popular walking routes to Rhossili along the Wales Coast Path.

In addition to its three bedrooms, the property has a detached barn conversion which has the potential to be used as a holiday let, an annex or just some extra space for guests. There’s even a spacious workshop with enough room to fit all your tools and up to five cars, as well as five large stables and an extra barn space for storage.

After passing through the wooden gate with plenty of room for a number of cars to park, you’ll head inside into the slatetiled floor entrance before being guided into the traditional kitchen. Here, you will notice the range of solid oak wall and base units, as well as an integrated double sunken sink, while there’s also a breakfast bar with three stools and a Falcon oven with two ovens. There is plenty of space for a large dining table with up to at least eight seats, making it the perfect space for family and friends.

Just off from the kitchen there’s a handy rear lobby which offers extra storage, as well as a cloakroom with a toilet and hand wash basin.

At the front of the property there’s a study which could easily be transformed into a snug or playroom, while the nearby formal dining room features eye-catching wooden beams. These are also present in the lounge, as well as the stone feature fireplace with a slate hearth and a large wooden mantel piece which has been locally sourced.

From here you’ll find the conservatory which is ideal for entertaining guests who can enjoy the stunning views across the garden, which can be accessed through the double doors.

There’s even a utility room downstairs laid with sparkly black quartz tiles fitted with base units topped with locally sourced beech wood.

You will have access to the barn from here and there’s space for under the counter appliances, as well as a Blanco triple corner sink.

Heading up to the first floor, three windows at the front of the property allow plenty of light into the master bedroom, which also has space for a dressing and seating area.

The second bedroom is laid with wooden flooring and benefits from an ensuite made up of a walk-in shower, anti-fog LED mirror and a heated towel rail, while the third bedroom boasts stunning views overlooking the grounds.

Nearby in the family bathroom you will find a cast iron bath, double walk-in shower, wooden flooring and sparkling cream quartz tiled walls.

Back outside, the barn conversion has been renovated with locally sourced oak woodwork throughout and has three additional bedrooms offering superb views across the marsh and over to Burry Port. The master bedroom benefits from oak flooring and an en suite with a walk-in electric shower, sparkly black quartz tiles and spotlighting, while the remaining two bedrooms both have oak flooring and have access to the family bathroom.

The spacious family room boasts oak feature beams, oak flooring and a stone fireplace with a slate hearth surrounding the cosy log burner.

There’s ample space to relax while admiring the surrounding views in the garden, which is made up of a mixture of patio and level lawn and features a range of mature trees, fruit trees and shrubs.

It is described by estate agent Fine & Country as a “spectacular family home” which is “fantastically positioned with multiple walks, hacks and cycle routes all on your doorstep”.

The property is on the market at £1,100,000. Call estate agents Fine & Country on 01792 367301.
