Top line-up of speakers as TEDX event is back in city

-

ACROSS the world, independently organised Tedx events are known for high quality speakers, original “ideas worth spreading” and engaging their local communities.

Tedxswansea, last in the city in 2018, returns this June 5 with a fantastic line-up of speakers at the Brangwyn Hall, sponsored by Swansea Council with the support of venue manager Tracey Ellicot, who has ensured the event can also be streamed live across the globe.

It represents an excellent opportunity to again highlight Swansea as a world-class place to do business, and comes at the right time, with City Deal, a new arena and major construction projects taking place across the city.

This year’s line-up of prestigious speakers includes: TV Presenter Andrea Byrne, storytellers Joy Macko and Jan Iverson, computer science expert Professor Matt Jones, innovation incubator, academic and entrepreneur Georgios Dimitropoulos, bestselling author, international master coach and business strategist Bernie Davies, strategy and policy innovation specialist Andy Middleton and CEO of Ministry Group and MD of Ministry of Furniture, Graham Hirst.

Tedxswansea media sponsor Tim Hughes, of Behind the Lens, said: “I was thrilled by the support of the council facilitating my drone flight paths which allowed us to showcase the beauty of Swansea on the event trailer.”

The event has been welcomed and supported by multiple local and regional businesses such as Swansea FC, Devine Creations, Printinc, Brand 51, Coding Cottage, Red Digital, Emma J life shaper, Freedom from Tedium.

Speakers are supported by expert TEDX coaches Melitta Campbell, Emma Wainer, Viraj Kalra and Roxiana Oikonomou.
