ARSENAL climbed back to the top of the Premier League with a clinical 3-0 victory at Brentford.

They delivered an organised, inventive display and scored three well-taken goals from William Saliba, Gabriel Jesus and Fabio Vieira.

Such was Arsenal’s dominance that Mikel Arteta could even afford to give 15-year-old midfielder Ethan Nwaneri a late run-out as a substitute, making him the Premier League’s youngest player.

Erling Haaland scored again as Manchester swept past 10-man Wolves 3-0 at Molineux.

Jack Grealish fired City in front after just 53 seconds, turning home a low cross from Kevin de Bruyne following a clever back-heel from Phil Foden.

Haaland scored his 14th goal in 10 appearances for City after collecting a pass and driving forwards before lashing the ball into the bottom corner from 20 yards after 16 minutes.

Wolves’ task was made even more testing in the 33rd minute when defender Nathan Collins was shown a straight red card for a reckless challenge on Grealish.

England midfielder Foden eventually added a third goal with 20 minutes remaining.

Son Heung-min ended his eight-game barren run as Tottenham came from behind to comprehensively beat Leicester 6-2, a result that further increased the pressure on Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers.

Leicester went ahead in the seventh minute through a penalty from Youri Tielemans, which was retaken after Hugo Lloris was ruled to have moved off his line when saving the midfielder’s initial effort.

Spurs were swiftly back on terms when Harry Kane headed in Dejan Kulusevski’s cross.

Tottenham then went in front in the 22nd minute when Eric Dier flicked in a corner but the Foxes were level before half-time through James Maddison.

Spurs regained the lead just two minutes after the restart when Rodrigo Bentancur curled a low shot into the bottom corner.

Substitute Son clipped a sublime finish into the top-right corner from 20 yards.

The South Korea international then curled in a left-foot shot from the edge of the area, before completing a 13-minute hat-trick after VAR ruled him onside when sent through by Pierre Hojbjerg.

Newcastle and Bournemouth drew 1-1 at St James’ Park.

Bournemouth took the lead just after the hour through Philip Billing but Newcastle were back on level terms in the 67th minute.

Referee Craig Pawson reviewed a handball claim against Jefferson Lerma and pointed to the spot, with Alexander Isak making no mistake with the penalty.

Neal Maupay scored the only goal of the game as Everton beat West Ham at Goodison Park to register their first league success of the season.

Defeat left the Hammers in the relegation zone.
