And in the upper Swansea Valley, police also found another cannabis farm at a property in Ystalyfera.

“Thanks to local intelligence, Swansea City neighbourhood policing team partnered with Operation Viscaria officers to carry out enforcement of a five-floor cannabis factory on St James Gardens, Uplands on Friday, April 12.”
The statement added: “A misuse of drugs act warrant was also conducted on Peniel Green Road, Llansamlet, on the same day, where a cannabis cultivation containing over 170 plants was discovered.
And addressing the incident in Ystalyfera, a statement read: “PC Nethell and Pontardawe Neighbourhood Policing Team executed a positive warrant for a cannabis cultivation in the Ystalyfera area.”

We are again grateful to our communities for their patience and support while our officers carried out the warrant and arrest, and we would encourage those whose lives are blighted by these illegal activities to continue reporting their concerns and suspicions.”
