Marketing masterclass for start-up businesses

-

FREE marketing tips are being made available for start-up businesses in Swansea.

Jenny Harding, a director at Swansea-based Rethink PR and Marketing, will be running an online event this Thursday from 12.30pm to 2pm.

Taking place on Microsoft Teams, the event will cover topics including identifying your target audience, building a tone and voice, and how best to evaluate and learn from marketing campaigns.

An introduction to a suite of free tools to help with marketing will also be covered, as well as messaging structure and an overview on different marketing tactics.

Swansea Council has organised the event, following funding from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Cllr Robert Francis-davies, Swansea Council’s cabinet member for investment, regeneration and tourism, said: “Our start-up enterprise club has helped so many new businesses in recent years, thanks to expert advice in areas like social media, employment law and networking.

“Many start-up businesses will also no doubt benefit from marketing tips, so I’d encourage any business that’s interested in the session on Thursday to book their place as soon as possible.

“The start-up enterprise club is one of many ways the council is on hand to support businesses throughout the city as part of our commitment to help boost the local economy and create as much employment as possible.”
