EVO-STIK Northern Premier League club Marine has secured Liverpool legend and Sky Soccer pundit Phil Thompson as the main guest for a fundraising dinner.

The dinner will be held at the Marine Travel Arena on Friday, November 2.

It will be hosted jointly with ground partners AFC Liverpool, and proceeds will be shared between the two.

Phil Thompson’s Liverpool career spanned 13 seasons and more than 300 appearances, winning three European Cups, seven League titles, two League Cups, one FA Cup, and three Uefa Cups. He made his England debut in 1976, the first of 42 appearances in a six-year period. In recent years, he has been a regular panellist on the Sky Soccer Saturday show, hosted by Jeff Stelling.
