FRIENDS of Moorside Park will be running a spooky Hallowe’en event in the Crosby park on Saturday, October 27.
The event will feature activities for all the family including a spooky treasure hunt, pumpkin carving with Green Sefton CPOs, Shy Lowen will be offering pony rides, and Merseyside Fire and Rescue will be bringing along one of their fire engines.
Louise Hicks, chair of Friends of Moorside Park said “We are really excited about our Hallowe’en event, as it is fantastic opportunity to bring people into the park, the majority of the activities are run by volunteers of our group which means that all the proceeds from the event will go towards improving the park.
“We have tarot card reading, refreshments, craft stall, make and take crafts, pumpkin carving – there really is something for everyone.”
The event runs on Saturday, October 27, 1-3pm.

CUERDEN Valley Park will be holding a farmers market with food and craft stalls on Sunday, October 28, 10am-2pm.
The market will held in and around the visitor centre and cafe. Dogs welcome. Entry by donation.
There will be a Spooky Walk on Tuesday,
October 30 – time slots from 6pm.
Bring your torch for a walk in the dark with some spooky happenings along the way. Children (up to 11 years) £5, adults free.

SOUTHPORT Chrysanthemum and Gardening Society’s last show of the year will take place in the Marble Place, Southport on Saturday and Sunday, , October 27- 28.
It will run at 10am5pm on Saturday and 10am-4.30pm on Sunday, with trophy presentations on Sunday at 4.30pm.
