WE CANNOT believe that is it already less than a month to go now before we launch this year’s panto, Beauty & The Beast.

Ticket sales are at an all-time high for this show, written by Sam Kane himself!

You may have seen three of the cast – Sam Kane, Alistair Baron and Tony Howard – at the Christmas Light Switch-on event on Sunday.

Dressed to impress they took to the stage and got the crowd singing with a bit of good old audience participation!

What a great event, with more than 10,000 people attending and celebrating the start of the festive season.

Have you spotted the huge panto billboard in London Street?

Pop along and have a look, take a photo of yourself next to it and tag us in and share on social #SouthportPanto.

We also put the vinyls up on the Southport Theatre entrance with a castle theme and soon we will be adding a snow machine.

On Friday, December 14, it’s national Panto Day – which coincides nicely with Beauty & The Beast’s opening show.

If you’ve not heard of #Pantoday before, it’s all about celebrating the British institution of the pantomime.

Don’t forget, 2018 is the #YearoftheVillian, so we want to hear about your favourite panto baddies and mean moments.

On the day, the cast will be sharing lots of content over social media – so look out for it.

If you haven’t got your tickets for Beauty & The Beast, there is still time!

The show runs from Friday, December 14 to Sunday, December 30.
