MP refutes May deal and rejects new vote
deal would allow a “disastrous” nodeal Brexit to be inflicted on residents.
Would-be parliamentary candidate John Wright called for the Government to allow another public vote.
He said: “We say there is another way. Knowing what we know now, that the Brexit people voted for in 2016 is undeliverable, and with the politicians incapable of arriving at a consensus, the issue should go back to the British people to decide; there should be a People’s Vote on the final deal, with an option to remain included”.
