Driver held after car crash
A SUSPECTED drink-driver was arrested after reportedly crashing a stolen car.
Main roads in Kew were gridlocked after two cars crashed in Scarisbrick New Road on Thursday afternoon.
Police and ambulance were called to the scene, near Kew roundabout, when a Kia and BMW collided at about 3pm.
A woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police later said that a 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion on drink-driving and unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle. The collision caused major delays around Kew roundabout and on the A570.
