Fifth win of the year for Formby heavy Dickinson
ALEX Dickinson added the fifth win of the calendar year to his ledger last week.
The Formby heavyweight, 31, boxed at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow, exclusively live on BoxNation.
Dickinson, who is now 8-0 with five early since turning professional in June 2017, beat Morgan Dessaux on points over six rounds on Friday.
The Everton Red Triangle-trained man was a late addition to the MTK Global card and after retaining his flawless ledger against the 36-year-old Frenchman, a former foe of WBC International champion Nathan Gorman, he will now head back to the gym under head coach Paul Stevenson to prepare for his final outing of the year later this month.
Dickinson will be in action on December 22, live on BT Sport Box Office, as part of the supporting cast to Josh Warrington’s IBF featherweight world title defence against Carl Frampton at Manchester Arena on a card that will also feature Commonwealth Games bronze medallist Sam Maxwell and Martin Murray as he defends his WBC Silver middleweight title against Hassam N’Dam N’Jikam.
