Dashed good charity effort

-

CHRIST the King Catholic High School has hosted its second annual Santa Dash. Sports leaders from the secondary school helped to organise the fundraiser which featured 200 pupils – including some of its many feeder primary schools, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School, St Patricks Catholic Primary School, and Kew Woods Primary School – complete a 1km run in some pretty challenging weather conditions.

In total, the amount raised from this event was £200.75 and all proceeds go to Queenscourt Hospice to support its work for those who suffer from serious illness.

A special guest appearance was made by Queenie, the Queenscourt mascot, who spent time having photos taken with the children and cheering them on as they completed the course.
