ARE you fed up with no new programmes on TV? Well, now you can see live entertainm­ent in your home.

You can log on for a virtual Variety Show to watch at home and help raise money for Queenscour­t Hospice, Woodlands Hospice and the Rotary Foundation, the largest charity in the world which supports Rotary projects to help people both locally and around the world.

Tickets are just £10 but you can also donate more on the night. Please help us to raise much needed funds during the Covid-19 lockdown.

On Friday, July 24, the 14 Rotary Clubs covering Areas 1&2 of District 1180 involving Clubs from Southport, Formby, Ormskirk, Maghull & Aughton, and Liverpool are promoting a Variety Show Live via the Zoom app.

It opens at 7pm, and the performanc­e starts at 7.30pm finishing at 9pm.

You will need to have your credit or debit card handy to pay for your tickets.

Please invite your family and friends to join in.

You can download the free Zoom app on your phone, tablet, laptop or computer. You can also attach an HDMI lead to your TV and connect to your laptop to watch on the big screen. If you do not have a port on your device then a converter from

USB to HDMI is available from your local Currys/PC World or Amazon.

Once you are all set up. You will need to open your Zoom app and click “join the meeting”, enter the ID code from your Eventbrite booking and any password.

You will then join the show, make sure you have audio and video on so you can hear and see the show.

Then just sit back relax with all your goodies ready for a great night of entertainm­ent lasting with interval to refresh your drinks one and a half hours.
