Owner and dog hit by car
Galloway Road, was then charged with intent and malicious communications in relation to the incident.
The 30-year-old will go before Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday, October 28.
A DOG was killed by a hit and run driver who ran down the pet and its owner.
The Cavapoo died after being struck by the car on Bispham Road last week, while its devastated owner suffered an injury to their hand.
The car, described as a dark coloured hatchback, hit the pair at around 4pm on Thursday (October 1) and was then driven away from the scene.
Police now want to track down the driver and are asking any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
Constable Phil Williams from the Roads Policing Unit said: “We are keen to trace the driver of the vehicle to assist our enquiries and would also ask anyone who witnessed the incident to please get in touch.
“Likewise, if you have any dashcam footage, or CCTV footage from the surrounding area that may assist us identifying the vehicle involved, please let us know.”
