Your help can do even more!
WHEN you take your donated items to one of our shops, there is a way that your generous donations can go even further, and it won’t cost you a penny! For every £1 of value that your donation represents, we can make an extra 25p when you sign up for Gift Aid.
How? If you pay UK Income Tax, you are eligible to sign up for Gift Aid, and we can then reclaim the tax from the government. Your kindness can be boosted at no further expense to you, and all you have to do is fill in a quick and simple form, available from any of our retail outlets, and make a Gift Aid Declaration.
Once you’ve signed up to Gift Aid we will give you a unique donor number, which you can then use each time you bring goods to our shops, to make your donations go even further.
For example, Gift Aid on a £40 bag of donated goods raises an extra £10 for Queenscourt. When your items are sold, we’ll let you know by letter or email how much you’ve helped us raise, and you will have 21 days to confirm that you are happy for us to treat the money as a Gift Aid donation. Then we can increase the value of your donations, at no extra cost to you.
From 1991 to the present, our dedicated team of nurses, doctors, educators and support staff have provided exceptional care and support for thousands of patients across West Lancashire, Southport and Formby, as well as their families and carers.
As a small local charity with a big reach, we can only provide this level of care with the generosity of people like you. The pandemic has had a huge impact on our income generation, and in order to help keep Queenscourt in Service for the next 30 years and beyond, we need the continuing support of our wider community. Every penny to our charity really makes all the difference.
