LIFE is so busy and every day passes with a longer ‘to do’ list than the day before. We sometimes only get around to doing the things that are essential, like the shopping or visiting the dentist, whilst making a will can be one of those things that slides firmly to the bottom of the list.
There has never been a better time to put this task to the top of your ‘todo’ list though. This is your opportunity to get your will sorted so that you have peace of mind, safe in the knowledge that your wishes are recorded and your family is taken care of.

Throughout April, your will can be made for FREE with a local solicitor participating in the Make A Will Month scheme.
This initiative, which has the support of at least 10 leading solicitors’ firms across Southport, Formby and West Lancashire, encourages people to make a will in exchange for a charitable donation to Queenscourt. All you need to do is to make an appointment with a participating solicitor.
Suggested donations are £50 to amend a will, £100 for a single will and £150 for a double will. It doesn’t take long, and you will be able to cross this off your to-do list and enjoy peace of mind, freeing up more time to do the things you love.
Since our Make A Will Month scheme was launched in 2014, it has raised over £97,000 for Queenscourt and seen more than 700 wills written or updated as of April 2021.
