SOUTHPORT Pleasureland is recruiting more than 100 members of staff for the 2023 season.

The thriving attraction, on Marine Drive in Southport, is due to reopen on Saturday, March 18.

Tickets will go on sale soon. A Southport Pleasureland spokesperson said: “We will be holding recruitment workshops on Saturday, February 11 and Saturday, February 18 to help us find new members of staff to join our team for 2023.

“We’ll be looking to recruit in all areas of the business so guest relations, housekeeping, car parking, food and beverage and ride attendants.

“As well as some seasonal positions we will also be recruiting for some permanent full-time roles too.

“We’re asking anyone who is interested to complete the form on our website careers page and then we’ll get back in touch with them with more detail about the recruitment workshop days nearer the time.”

The park includes indoor and outdoor rides for children and adults of all ages, and also runs the historic Southport Pleasureland Miniature Railway.

Last year saw the opening of the new Viking Adventure Golf attraction following a £1 million investment, the new Southport Big Wheel — a 35 metre high, illuminated observation wheel with spectacular views across the coast — and the accompanying Southport Alpine Village.

More exciting new attractions are due to open this year.

At peak Southport Pleasureland employs around 120 people.

The park is currently seeking to recruit over 100 people to join the team for 2023 — a mixture of seasonal and full-time permanent members of staff.
