Jimeoin set to play festival

-

THE Southport Comedy Festival in association with Halliwell Jones BMW can announce yet another big name for this year’s 12th annual Southport Comedy Festival.

The popular annual event takes place once again under canvas at Southport’s Victoria Park in a luxury heated and seated marquee courtesy of Elite Marquees.

Festival favourite Jimeoin, pictured, will be returning to the festival on Wednesday, October 11 with his smash hit show The Craic, an hilarious evening of world-class stand-up from live comedy’s internationally acclaimed Irish master.

Festival Director Brendan Riley said “Jimeoin was the fastest selling comedian at last year’s festival and his show sold out nationally, his tour has been extended due to high demand and we are delighted that he is bringing it back to the festival.”

You’ve seen him on ‘The Royal Variety Performance’, ‘Live at the Apollo’, ‘Sunday Night at the Palladium’, ‘Conan O’Brien’ or perhaps online where he has clocked up hundreds of millions of views of his comedy clips... but NOTHING beats seeing Jimeoin live. Awardwinning with a wide appeal and a cheeky, no-gimmicks and superbly observed sense of humour, Jimeoin has audiences in stitches across the UK, Europe, USA and of his adopted homeland of Australia.

Tickets go on sale this Friday (March 10) at 10am from the festival website southportcomedyfestival. com. Grab your tickets early while they are still available.

The festival team is busy programming this year’s event with more names to be announced over the next few weeks. Keep an eye on the festival website or join the mailing list https://southportcomedyfestival.com/ whats-on to find out first who will be making Southport Smile this October.
