Could you Make a Difference in March for hospice?
QUEENSCOURT Hospice Retail has once again launched our ‘Make a Difference March’ campaign where we invite you to shop locally in one of our friendly retail outlets .... to help our planet as well as our charity.
By donating pre-loved items to our shops, and by buying pre-loved items from our shops, you can help to save the environment whilst raising much-needed funds for Queenscourt. Pre-loved affordable fashion encourages people to recycle their old clothes, providing valuable income for our charity, whilst helping to keep the unwanted items out of landfill.
Our shops are gearing up for a busy Spring/Summer season, preparing outfits for a whole range of occasions this month including: International Women’s Day March 8 St Patricks Day March 17 Global Recycling Day - March 18 Mother’s Day - March 19 Summer Time Begins - March 26.
Jodie Lovelock, Area Retail Manager at Queenscourt Hospice said: “Queenscourt Retail provides a vital source of income for Queenscourt Hospice, and we have been delighted by the support that we continue to receive from our loyal customers.
“We love seeing our customers showcasing their pre-loved purchases on social media, hopefully inspiring others to do the same! “By supporting our local charity, you can be assured your money stays within our local community and supports our hospice. Not only this, but purchasing pre-loved is more affordable than buying new items and slows down consumption and waste.
“However, we still need more people to choose to shop locally at one of our charity shops, so that we can continue to provide compassionate care for local people across West Lancashire, Formby and Southport, when they need us the most.”
Our friendly Retail Team are waiting to give customers old and new a warm welcome, so why not Make a Difference this March and shop locally in a Queenscourt Charity Shop.
