Gripping dramas and sitcom classic

-

WE ARE keeping you in more suspense than the weather is at the Little Theatre this week.

Psychological drama Dead Guilty opened on Friday, April 12 and runs each night until Saturday, April 20.

In the play we meet designer Julia Darrow who sustained serious injuries in a car accident when the driver, her colleague and secret lover John had a heart attack at the wheel.

She did not want to live after the crash so she is visited by Anne, a psychologist, to help her recover.

Also seeking to assist are local handyman Gary and John’s widow Margaret. But who has Julia’s best interests at heart and will she know who to trust? Will you?

We have one more play left in our subscriber season and this year’s finale is an adaptation of the perennially popular The Good Life.

Adrian Miles-Roberts is at the helm of this tale of Tom and Barbara Good and their quest to leave the rat race in pursuit of simplicity and sustainability.

The Good Life will be on from Friday, May 10-Saturday, May 18 with a matinee on Saturday, May 11.

We will then bring you a bar production from June 18-22 (with two performances on the Saturday). The Revlon Girl is a thought provoking and sensitively presented play focusing on the mothers of some of the children who died in the Aberfan disaster in 1966.

The play is set eight months after the coal tip slip that claimed the lives of 116 children and 28 adults. The mothers meet to talk and share and have decided to invite a make up representative for a talk and demonstration to help them feel normal.

We will soon be launching our offer for next year’s season with some new options so keep an eye on our website and social media channels for news about this exciting opportunity.
