Find out if you’ll be splashing out or watching the pennies in 2019

Spirit and Destiny - - Horoscopes -

You may not believe it but you have a way with money. When you put your mind to it, you are logical and very capable with finances. You can approach this year with confidence. In particular, look for an unusual investment, gig or short-term opportunity. It will be fun and it will be unexpected — that’s how you’ll recognise it.

You have a lot of creative flair, especially for music, sculpture, landscaping and painting. You are also brilliant with interiors, knowing just the right colours, fabrics, and designs to choose. Any of these areas could bring an income. The planet Mercury is important to your financial fortunes, note his retrograde dates (see page 85).

You’re a generous soul but please be more careful about doling out money this year. You have a tender heart but this is a crucial year for your own savings. Decide which individual or charity will get your support and stick to that. Happily the time around the end of August and beginning of September seems lucrative for earnings or even a bonus.

You’ve overcome so much to iron out your finances. This year will be easier. You can build on what you have but you still aren’t in a position to go mad — such as travel or a new car. Rake in extra cash from alternative therapies, spirituality, fashion or photography. March is especially good for cash and nobody can say no to you.

This year offers you a tough path that will eventually lead to material security. You will be challenged to make some long-term decisions about your money. It’s a good time to put money into a pension or annuity. An older relative may need help with finances, be the person to guide them. If you’re going to spend,

splurge on home and family.

You had a rough few years in the financial wilderness and you’re still catching up. This year will bring surprises regarding your link to other people and their money or to organisations that hold your money. Surprises, by their very nature, can be good or not. Look at what happens around February 13th to get an idea of what is happening.

There are ways to earn a living besides showing up from nine-to-five. This year your creative interests are under a guiding star and if you feel you have any artistic ability, please invest the time to find out. Even if you’re not creative, your astrology says you have an aptitude for managing other people’s talent.

You do enjoy a bit of glamour and fun. This year you deserve to treat yourself to the one thing you’ve always wanted. Whether it’s a gorgeous piece of jewellery, a trip, riding lessons, whatever! See if you can make it happen. Earned money comes from extra work

this summer.

2018 was a better year but you still have ground to make up. Continue to save what you can and look for other opportunities to earn a little on the side. If you have no financial worries, then please think about mentoring someone who needs financial education. You are tactful and will approach them just right.

Money flies in and back out faster than you can count it. Pay attention to what occurs on March 6th.

Events then set the financial tone for the rest of your year. If you need to make some extra money on the side, go for jobs or gigs that are obscure or geeky. You’ll also find income from working outdoors.

Take note of the occasions that Mercury is retrograde (see page 85). The money part of your horoscope is ruled by Mercury, indicating that you should avoid making deals or buying pricey items during those times. That said, there is a time of bounty ahead, from August 21st through

to September 14th.

There’s no hiding from money matters that demand your close attention. You could easily get tempted to overspend when you know you need to save and repay debt. If you do it right, by Boxing Day 2019 you will be looking at a pretty healthy bank balance and some real security.
