AQUALUNG i300 | £191 (€222.85)
Aqualung have been fairly late to the party when it comes to dive computers, but with the i300, they have a solid, user-friendly unit that is straightforward and uncomplicated. The i300 has three modes - dive (which covers air and nitrox diving, up to 50 percent), freedive, which is obviously for breath-hold diving, and gauge, where it acts as a simple depth gauge and bottom timer for techies. The dot-matrix display is a decent size, and the rubberised body and strap is robust and durable. It has a user-changeable battery, and the data retention function means it will maintain settings and calculations between battery changes.
TEST TEAM COMMENTS
The i300 is a well-priced dive computer which is well-specced for the money. The dot matrix display may be a little dated compared with its colour rivals, but is still easy to read. For under £200, it represents a downright steal.
