The EurAsia Cup, a new match-play team competition featuring the top male golfers of Europe and Asia beginning 2014, was unveiled. The inaugural EurAsia Cup, featuring 10 players from each continent, will be held at the Glenmarie Golf and Country Club in Malaysia from March 28 to 30. It will be the third match-play event involving Europe after the Ryder Cup and Seve Trophy, the biennial contests between Europe and USA, and Great Britain & Ireland and continental Europe, respectively.

The D+D Czech Masters in Prague was added to the European Tour for a minimum of five years, beginning 2014. It will be the first European Tour tournament in the country’s capital since the 1997 Czech Open held at the Prague Karlstein Golf Club. The Czech Open was last held in 2011, when the Prosper Golf Resort in Celadna acted as host.

The Jack Nicklaus Golf Club in Korea was named as the host venue for the Presidents Cup in 2015, the first time the biennial team contest between USA and a combined international side from outside Europe will have been held in Asia. The club is located in the Songdo International Business District in Incheon, which will be the host city for event, the PGA Tour announced. The course was designed by Nicklaus, USA’s former star golfer.
